INSTALLATION AND FUNCTIONING

An extinguisher of 12kg (2) is placed on the foot (1). This foot is fixed on the ground by means of 4 bolts.
The extinction arm (3) must be connected to the foot and is adjustable in height (minimum height : 130cm, maximum height : 170cm).
The flexible hose (4) is connected to both the extinction arm and the extinguisher.
The counterweight (5) must be adjusted in function of the height of the arm.
In case of a fire, the fuse (6) will melt at a temperature of 72°C, and release the counterweight.
By means of the conductors (7), it falls on the percussion head of the extinguisher. The CO2 gaz will push the powder into the extinction arm (3) towards the brass nozzle (8), which will spread the powder directly on the fire.
